A throwback to the days of the original record pool mixes where DJs came to hear and receive new music on vinyl, all while meeting new artists! RPM is the brainchild of one of the most successful Music artists from the DMV, Nonchalant. Nonchalant knows first hand, the power of the record pool. Her Gold selling single “5o’clock” made Its debut at the famous record pool “Tables Of Distinction” presented by the one and only, DJ Eardrum, here in the DMV.

The goal of RPM is twofold, DJs will have the opportunity to hear and spin new DMV music, highlighting their talent. For DMV artists, the goal is to provide a platform for their music to be heard as mixed by some of the most prolific DJs in the country and around the world.

There are so many steps between the creative idea and the #1 record. The connections artists make with DJs is one of the most important connections in their creative journey!

One song submission per artist. Submission link can be found above, in website header. Multiple submissions will result in none of your music being spun. BUMMER!
Your submission must be in mp3 form only. Song should be mixed or at least sonically compatible with Music that can be heard on the radio.
We are accepting all genres of music, hiphop, pop, r&b, country….EVERYTHING! So send it!
Music does not need to be clean.
Let us know where you’re from in the DMV.
Include your contact information and any social media pages you wish to promote. You need more followers! We all do!
Please promote the event, using the hashtags #RPM & #RecordPoolMixes.
The DJs will not be spinning in any order. Please do not ask when your song will be played. We don’t know, so go get something to drink and be surprised when your hit drops!
When you arrive, come to the registration center to let us know you’re in the building.
Take a short video of yourself saying RPM or Record Pool Mixes, email it to us and we will use it in our promotion for the event!
If you have Merch, great! If you don’t, we got you with a special surprise!
